Evidilya's scientific and operations team was at CPHI Frankfurt 2025, Messe Frankfurt, 28 – 30 October, meeting sponsors and partners to discuss the phygital model for decentralised and virtual research: how community-based recruitment through PHYGITAL-CROWD and unified capture on ECS® shorten the path from protocol to proof without sacrificing rigour. Conversations focused on bringing the study to the participant, adaptive study designs, and the operational discipline required to keep real-world data defensible.
Three themes came back in almost every meeting. First, recruitment is still the binding constraint: sponsors do not lack sites, they lack reach into the population the protocol actually describes. Second, decentralised does not mean lighter governance; it means the provenance trail has to be designed in from the first data point rather than reconstructed for a reviewer. Third, the sequence matters more than the tooling: choosing the rigour path before the budget is what keeps a programme defensible.
